How long have you been employed at T.B. Mackay Energy Services?
Five and a half years.
What do you enjoy about your roll at T.B. Mackay Energy Services?
I love how varied my role is. I do the payroll for the engineers, help with the Management accounts and credit control amongst other things. I really enjoy chatting with customers on the phone, and I absolutely love spreadsheets.
I am also part of the Social Committee at T.B. Mackay, and enjoyed helping to organise a company barbeque in 2019 as well as the Christmas nights out, hopefully, we can resume that when we are back to normality!
I am very lucky to have a lot of brilliant colleagues, and have made a lot of friends within the company. I’m not sure what I would have done in the last year without the office banter, whether that be over teams, or in person the days I am in the office.
During lockdown I have been expanding my vinyl collection and watching a lot of Netflix. I also love travelling, especially exploring Scotland. I hope to get back to Aviemore and Skye soon.
What is one skill you would love to learn to do?
I learned to play the drums at school, but I would love to be good at it!
What’s on your bucket list?
I would love to see the northern lights.
What is one accomplishment in your life that you’re really proud of?
I went to Heriot-Watt University when I was 25 and managed to get a 1st Class Degree in Accountancy and Finance.
Favourite Netflix show?
That’s a hard one! I would have to say Breaking Bad or Mindhunter.
